Gary Long (Ongoing)

St Ives painter and part time lecturer at Falmouth College of Art for the last decade Gary Long is an artist member of the Society of Illustrators in New York and Fellow of Manchester College of Art, School of Advanced Study. Living in Penwith and observing the changing seasons in this dramatic landscape helps Gary to build a memory bank to bring forth works to come. The creative process lets emotion take over, working the paint into the surface and building up layers which in turn create texture. With vigorous brush work the atmosphere emerges through the paint.
