Henrietta Dubrey (1966 - ongoing)

Henrietta was born in Sussex in 1966 and now lives in West Penwith in Cornwall. She studied at the West Sussex College of Art and Design, the Byam School of Art, Wimbledon School of Art (gaining a BA Hons) and the Royal Academy Schools (Achieving a Diploma).

She has exhibited widely in both solo and joint shows.

In her own words ” My work is generally described as abstract, although I would describe my paintings as autobiographical deconstructions and reconstructions of life.

These ideas appear on the canvas surface often as an abstract gestural web, occasionally tangled, occasionally bold and resolved. An iconic form is liberated from a void into being.”
