Joan Gillchrest (1918 - 2008)

Joan Gillchrest (1918–2008) St Michael’s Hospital. Artist, born in London, who trained under Iain Macnab at Grosvenor School of Modern Art and in Paris. During World War II she drove an ambulance in London. In 1958 she moved to Cornwall.
