John Evans (Ongoing.)

Born in Coventry, now living in Somerset.

John began to take an interest in art in the 1980s and was mentored by Peter Coate RWA and was painting sporadically with some early work exhibited in RWA Bristol.

John became interested in St.Ives Artists and also became fascinated by Medieval painters who didn’t understand perspective but were able to capture an event or subject with all the necessary components but not necessarily in proportion.

John began to paint more seriously in the late 90s with his work exhibiting in various galleries and started to paint full time in 2016.
