Tracey Hunter (1973 - ongoing)
Tracey was born in Northumberland in 1973 and spent most of her childhood in the North East of England.
From a very early age she showed a natural ability to draw and paint and excelled in art – related subjects, always gaining top grades throughout school and college.
Tracey would often venture down to the Beautiful North Cornish coast year after year for the vast sandy beaches and rugged coastline. Tracey can now call this home, living with her Partner and two Daughters. She works as a professional artist surrounded by stunning scenery, unspoilt fishing ports, her every day inspiration.
Her paintings have been sold internationally and her work has been added to many private collections.
Tracey produces her work in many mediums but she prefers acrylics or oils for their strength of colour and versatility and her subjects include sea, landscapes, portraiture and figurative.
She has always loved to draw and paint, it is her passion and her influences are from the Cubist art movement, one of the most significant art movements of the Twentieth Century.
Her contemporary pieces are purely influenced by the light, colour, movement and history of Cornwall.
